Chaplin Charles "Charlie" in
The Photoplayers Weekly Volume 3 Number 1
Los Angeles: The Photoplayers Weekly 1915. First Edition . Illustrated Wrappers. Good . 12 1/4" Tall. Photographs and Drawings Throughout. Interesting fan/publicity/trade magazine mainly what appear to be press releases and similar publicity. Interesting for a three page "autobiography" purportedly by Chaplin written in what is meant to be a frank and revealing manner giving thoughtful details about himself his acting his career and in particular his thoughts on many professional matters which are certainly not inconsistent with what the reader today might expect him to have said and without the superficial gloss and fluff of the other articles . Scarce.

The Photoplayers Weekly unknown
