The title publishing and author details have been written on what would seem to be the ffep. These indicate that the book was published for the author Maidstone 1888 - 1889. There are 12 hand coloured and 19 black and white plates. The plates and text are in better condition than the rest of the book .a few of the tissue guards are missing. in one instance the plate has been traced onto the guard. . The coloured plates are near fine and would be very handsome indeed if framed. The book would benefit from rebinding if it was decided to retain it intact. Photographs and additional information willingly supplied. Condition described in terms of overall condition - some elements of this copy are better and some worse.
