This is a very good hardcover reference copy with some wear around the edges. Very clean inside and out, but a name in calligraphy on the front cover, and 2 plates provided in very close facsimile. Introductions by James Burford and Rene Herbst. 34 black & white photographic plates. 2 of these plates have been copied in a high quality copier and tipped on to heavy card stock, and then hinged into the binding. Some readers will probably not notice this. The two plates are photographs of the Galeries Lafayette. Other shops and showrooms included in this important survey are: Alfa Romeo Motors, Rody Cafe Bar, Arcade des Champs Elysees, Carron Soeurs, Aux Troix Sultanes, A.Dunhill, Roges Cavailles, Au Siamois, Soutif, Adrienne, Tandrade, Christofle among many others. 13" high X 10" wide. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
