The six large feature shots are in full color; a panel dividing them into two rows shows smaller b&w shots of seven more players see scans. Very Good; bright and clean but folded as originally presented to me at a 'Cuse football banquet and with notable moderate crinkle as well; minimal wear at a few fold intersections. No pin holes no tape. Still as bright and colorful as when new - and extremely scarce in any condition. Collectible 2-signature SU football piece. This is an almost very good hardcover reference copy bound in black cloth with gilt title on the spine. Very clean inside and out, but the pages are tanning and there was a moisture splash to the top page edge near the spine. This is visible internally at the top near the middle of the book. Not all that visible, but there. No mustiness. One name to a front endpaper. Not ex-library. Text by Adami in Italian. 296 plates in both color and black & white. Plate list fully identifies the artists. About 65 artists who designed sets for La Scala during the glorious first century of its' existence. Costume designs by 37 designers (many also designed sets). 13" high X 9" wide, 33 text pages + plates. Large heavy book foreign postage will be extra. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.

This is a very good hardcover copy with almost no wear. Completely clean inside and out. Text in French. This is a sale catalog for an auction held at Tajan in Paris on December 14, 1992. The sale contained an exceptional piece of furniture designed by Jules Debois (1851- 1935). A fine art nouveau bureau with sculptural ornaments of silver designed in 1902-03. The rest of the sale contained School of Paris paintings, prints and monotypes. No prices realized, just estimates for each piece except the Meuble-Sirene (estimation sur demand). All lots illustrated in color. The Meuble Sirene has 3 color photographs and an essay. 95 lots in the complete sale. 11" high X 8" wide. This book will be securely packed and shipped with tracking.

Very good/ good-only A pleasing association copy of this intimate celebration-cum-commemoration of the actor costume designer director and producer of the Pioneer Players set down "all for love and nothing for reward" including contributions from Craig's partners Chris St. John and Clare Tony Atwood her brother Edward Gordon Craig plus Cicely Hamilton Vita Sackville-West and close friend neighbour and this copy's inscriber Violet Pym. Violet 'Vi' Pym had known Craig and St John since childhood with "golden happy" stretches of it spent at Smallhythe with Ellen Terry and at the couple's London flat. Following St John's death thirteen years later Pym sorted the biographer's papers and shared her diaries with their mutual friend Vita Sackville-West thus bringing to light in VSW's words: "Christopher's horrifying document … a love journal and … shattering record of her friendship with me".
