Raoul Varin of Paris France re-created the original paintings in the mid-1920s. The differences between Mr. Varin's paintings and the original prints were subtle. He engraved a variety of signed limited edition numbered prints . in the 1920s and 1930s. They were published by A Ackermann & Son . His views took a historical perspective . often based on extant classical works - Chicagology.com". Only 100 signed prints of the finished work were published. With loose as issued: 1 leaf of a plate and one poem on tissue to accompany the plate. Pages are unopened. The Bibelot was published by Thomas Mosher from 1895 to 1914. In this issue he reprints poems from Paul Verlaine's Poèmes Saturniens. The plate of a woman in front of a forest is by Andhré des Gachons and dated 1896. It is accompanied by "A Une Femme" translated by A. Lenalie. Very scarce with the loose plate and poem on tissue. In Good Condition: wrappers are separated along spine; wrappers are sunned and slightly chipped along edges; sewing is present but not intact; pages and plate are clean and bright. First published in 1745 and Dedicated to the Duchess of Portland, from whose most extensive collection it was compiled. Vertue derived much of the information for the life of Hollar from the younger Faithorne and Mr. F. Place, both of them engravers, who were very conversant with Hollar during his residence in London.

Leggere fioriture nella parte inferiore del foglio che non interessano la parte incisa (Light yellowing at the lowre part of the sheet). Tiratura di 10 (Edition of 10 copies). . Nel "Catalogo dell'Opera Incisoria" di Renzo Vespignani. Franca May Edizioni, 1982, l'opera viene riportata nell'Appendice con il titolo "Spiaggia e barche" ma datata 1954.
