The prints focus on Joan's leadership during the Hundred Years' War and on the gender-bending aspects of her identity and dress that contributed to her 1431 trial for heresy. The History of Rasselas Prince of Abissinia originally titled The Prince of Abissinia: A Tale though often abbreviated to Rasselas is an apologue about happiness by Samuel Johnson.
