Come sarà l’Europa nel prossimo futuro? La nostra civiltà e le nostre radici cristiane saranno spazzate via dai musulmani turchi, nordafricani, pachistani e tutti gli altri islamici tra loro legati da una religione radicale che non concede alternative agli “infedeli”? Il tallone d’Achille dell’occidente e in particolare dell’Europa è la sua democrazia che sta aprendo le porte all’invasione, la sua bassissima fecondità a fronte dei molti bambini islamici e in ultimo è la tendenza a rispettare e assecondare la cultura dell’invasore per vigliaccheria e per timore di essere definiti xenofobi. Entro la fine di questo secolo democraticamente la maggioranza di fede musulmana avrà forse conquistato il continente europeo. In questo libro l’autore immagina di inviare nel prossimo futuro un’astronave per un viaggio nello spazio tempo al fine di osservare e riportare a lui la triste realtà del nostro continente: purtroppo questo non potrà evitare che la storia prosegua nel suo corso essendo stata tracciata dal Creatore una volta per tutte. Very Good Persian Original decorative dark brown full leather bdg. 44 p. Printed on a special paper with an early 18th century watermark. The Advice by Attâr includes 901 couplet in Persian. Attar Persian poet, Sufi, theoretician of mysticism, and hagiographer, born ca. 540/1145-46 at Nisapur, and died there in 618/1221. His name was Abû ?âmed Mo?ammad b. Abî Bakr Ebrâhîm or, according to Ebn al-Fowatî, b. Sa'd b. Yûsof. ?Attâr and Farîd-al-dîn were his pen-names. It seems that 'Attâr was not well known as a poet in his own lifetime, except at Nisâpûr. 'Awfî, who traveled widely, may have heard about him while staying there , or perhaps from Majd-al-dîn Bagdâdî if this Majd-al-dîn was their common Sufi mentor, though Awfî appears to have only known about Attâr's lyric poetry. Farid al-din 'Attar is one of the most famous spiritual poets of Persia. His works were the inspiration of Rumi and many other mystical poets. 'Attar, along with Sana'i were two of the greatest influences on Rumi in his Sufi views. Rumi has mentioned both of them with the highest esteem several times in his poetry. Rumi praises 'Attar as follows: "Attar roamed the seven cities of love... we are still just in one alley." 'Attar reached an age of well over 80 and died a violent death in the massacre which the Mongols inflicted on Nishapour in April 1221. The world depicted in 'Attar's works reflects the whole evolution of the Sufi movement. The starting point is the idea that the body-bound soul's awaited release and return to its source in the other world can be experienced during the present life in mystic union attainable through inward purification. In explaining his thoughts, 'Attar uses material not only from specifically Sufi sources but also from older ascetic legacies. Apart from his two famous epic masnavi poems 'The Conference of the Birds' and 'The Book of God' he composed a Divan full of powerful, enlightened ghazals and ruba'is. The Pand-nama is a small book of wise, moral advice in short poems in rhyming couplets that is practical and spiritual... Very Good French Paperback. Cr. 8vo. (19 x 14 cm). In French. 243, [1] p., 1 folded map. 4tth Enlarged Edition. Maghrebian Islam: Introduction to the general study of Islam. Bousquet was a 20th-century French jurist, economist and Islamologist. He was Professor of law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Algiers where he was a specialist in the sociology of North Africa (Berbers, Islam). He is also known for his translation work of the great Muslim authors, Al-Ghazali, a theologian who died in 1111 and Tunisian historian Ibn Khaldun, (1332-1406). He was known as a polyglot, spoke several European languages (Dutch, his second mother tongue, English, German, Italian, but also Spanish, Danish, Norwegian ...) and Eastern ones (Arab, Malay ...). After studying law, economics and political science in Paris, Bousquet was appointed in 1927 as a lecturer in economics at the Faculty of Law of Algiers. By this time, he learned Arabic and became interested in Islamic studies while preparing the agrégation in political economy which he passed in 1932. He became a professor and continued his academic career in Algiers for three decades, as an economist and scholar of Islam. The titles of his chair were successively Économie et sociologie nord-africaine (in 1947), to become Histoire comparée des coutumes de l'Islam et économie et sociologie algériennes one year later and finally Droit musulman et sociologie nord-africaine. After the independence of Algeria, Bousquet moved to Bordeaux to complete his academic career: he taught both Muslim sociology and the history of economic thought.
