Das dänische Alphabet besteht aus 29 Buchstaben. Die zusätzlichen Buchstaben sind : AE, O und Ä. In der Klassierung sind diese nach dem Buchstaben Z zu finden. Aus diesem Grund ist z.B. der Name Ärhus nicht unter dem Buchstaben A zu finden, sondern nach Z unter Ä. In der Liste für Deutschland (BR) sind die Umlaute Ä in AE, Ö in OE und Ü in UE gedruckt.
