Printed and bound by Jarrold & Sons Norwich. Set in 'Monophoto' Bembo 12 point spaced 1 point. Beautiful binding of blue cloth with gilt decoration on front and gilt titled on spine. There is a slightly faded area along the lower fore-edge of the front board a tiny reddish spot on the lower gilt decoration and there is a faint indentation on the bottom edge. Sewn binding is tight book is square. Endpapers with maps of the plan of the city before and after the fire in brown tones. Frontis in full color of The Great Fire of London as seen from Wapping. Internals very clean and free from any markings no creases. Page 71/72 has a chip out of the fore edge.
