B. Schott's Sohne Mainz 1900. 13.5" X 11" in elegantly marbled boards with leather spine and corners. Edges and endpapers also marbled. Top 1" chipped off spine less from bottom of spine; heavily rubbed and cracking along edges of spine but binding is still holding together OK. Even with all the cosmetic issues this is still quite a handsome book. Pages are very clean and unmarked. I can find no publishing date but it would appear to have been published some time in the last quarter of the 19th century. This is Wagner's Rheingold adapted by A. Heintz to be played on 2 pianos. The music is VERY VERY challenging. 215pp!. Limited Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. B. Schott's Sohne, Mainz Hardcover

Paramount 1996-10-31. VHS Tape. Very Good/Good. nice condition tape in worn sleeve; After he is framed for the death of several colleagues and falsely branded a traitor a secret agent embarks on a daring scheme to clear his name in this spy adventure. Though it drew its name from the familiar television series director Brian DePalma's big-budget adaptation shares little more with the original show than the occasional self-destructing message and the name of team leader Jim Phelps Jon Voight. The film focuses not on Phelps but his protégé Ethan Hunt a reserved Tom Cruise who becomes a fugitive after taking the blame for a botched operation. He responds by banding together with a group of fellow renegades and he is soon maneuvering his way through a twisted series of double crosses that mainly serve as excuses for spectacular high-tech action sequences. Much of the activity revolves around a missing computer disk with the film's most famous scene depicting Hunt's delicate efforts to retrieve the disk from a secure well-alarmed room in CIA headquarters. ~ Judd Blaise Rovi Paramount unknown

Very good. 31 separate and rare offprints from noted geneticist Robert P. Wagner of the University of Texas at Austin. Wagner was brought into Texas' renowned center for genetics by J.T. Patterson who served as his mentor. The majority of the papers concern his important research and experimentation with Neurospora crassa a model organism in biochemical genetics. Wagner is the co-author of four books the first of which Genetics and Metabolism 1955 was the "first major synthesis and summary of the emerging field of biochemical genetics and was an important influence worldwide being translated into several languages and used extensively as a textbook" "In memoriam Robert Wagner" available at the UT Austin web-page.
