With the original paper packet-covers having the studio imprint of Photo Rotativo TP Sao Paulo on each. The images are titled in the plate with blank backs. Views include street scenes of various areas of Rio: Placio Monroe Av. Rio Branco several Hotel Gloria Hotel Central Theatro Municipal Praia de Botafogo Vista de Pao de Assucar Entrada de Barra Praia de Copacabana Avenue Niemeyer e Gavea Rua Paysandu Jardim Botanico Dedo de Deus Palace Hotel and others. In the Serie 1 packet and included in the count are 2 panoramas made of 2 individual images of the vast Rio de Janeiro shoreline taken from height. The images are approx. 2 1/8" x 3 3/8" size. The packet over-covers with a little wear; photos with only occasional silvering and are in very good condition. There is a very informative interview in the online publication Newcity Brazil 2018 by writer Cynthia Garcia "Brazilian History From a German View: An interview with curator Rubens Fernandes Junior about the long-overlooked work of Theodore Preising German-born naturalized Brazilian photographer" which gives much further information about his career and work. .
