A four-page ballad describing the enormous storm experienced by the Spanish fleet in 1719 and of the miraculous preservation of the ships which eventually arrived safely in Cadiz. It was this same great fleet which Spain had gathered at Cadiz and Corunna for the invasion of the west of England directed by James Butler the attainted Duke of Ormonde. O knjigama Srete Tanasica pisali su jezikoslovci razlicitih generacija a o njegovim sintaksickim radovima svoj sud su dala tri nasa istaknuta akademika sintaksicara koji su u jednom periodu Tanasicevog stvaranja bili njegovi savremenici: Irena Grickat Predrag Piper i Milka Ivic koja spada ne samo medju najvecnje srpske vec i medju najvece svetske lingviste kraja 20. i pocetka 21. veka. I svi oni su vrko povoljno govorili o rezultatima njegovih istrazivanja u oblasti srpske sintakse. Tesko da ima jos jedan nas sintaksicar u poslednjih pedesetak godina o kome su pisala tri akademika i to tako pohvalno. To samo po sebi govori a u tim napisima je i eksplicitno istaknuto da Sreto Tanasic spada medju najistaknutije nase sintaksicare ovog vremena. Takodje o njegovim knjigama vrlo povoljno pisali su i drugi najistaknutiji nasi sintaksicari kao i mladji oni koji stasavaju. Delo Srete Tanasica prati se i uvazava i izvan okvira srpske jezicke nauke u sirim slavistickim okvirima. Vredna je pomena cinjenica da je o njegovoj knjizi iz sintakse pasiva jedne od najtezih oblasti srpske i slovenske sintakse objavljen obiman i sa dosta povoljnih ocena prikaz u Moskvi u casopisu Vopros zkoznani vodecem naucnom glasilu u svetu slavistike. O drugoj njegovoj knjizi publikovan je takodje vrlo povoljan prikaz u drugom znacajnom slavistickom centru u Sofiji. Oni ce sad biti dostupni i citaocima u Srbiji.
