Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED seems to have a thin plastic coating which has wrinkled on the front of dj small bit of sticker residue on front of dj thin short black line on spine of dj has some minor scratches that didn’t tear the paper no holes minor chips and small bit of white paint on back cover dj three 1/2 inch tears on dj spine but dust jacket is bright and entirely whole and relatively undamaged. The book itself has covers and spine flat clean three bent corners no spine creases bottom of spine has a 1/2 inch rip each side with the board bent up slightly and a small torn paper flap beside this at join of lower spine and front board some minor shelf wear to bottom edges of boards. Page edges slightly sunned and there is a 1/4 inch round red dot on the bottom page face. Inner end papers are white. Inside of book is tight clean bright flat no rips on one or two pages the red dot shows a bit on the page face. Owner’s name date ink on ffep. Black/white and colour photos. Illustrations. 1500 pictures. The full story of flight. A huge and heavy volume means a slightly higher postage charge. Book was edited jointly by John W.R. Taylor F.R.Hist.S.
