Mexico. No date. Ca. 1960s. Two small original vintage color posters / leaflets each 17 1/2 x 5 inches. Each has three fold lines; otherwise very good clean condition. Both handbills are for a Sunday March 10th bull fight with matadors Angelete "Spanish artist of well earned fame whose triumphs in Spain and Mexico have made history"and Blando "Mexican matador recently returned from Spain after a brilliant tournee through the principal Bull Rings". The first poster features a color illustration by Salvador Carreno and the second a color illustration of a matador by "Ximenaz". Both fights feature bulls from the "leading Mexican Stock Farm of Carlos Cuevas." Prices in U.S. Currency were $2.50 for the Shady Side and $1.65 for the Sunny Side. "Reserved seats at the Comercial sic Hotel in Mexicali Mexico." The handbills were printed in Mexico by the Cisneros Printing Shop. Date of the posters is unknown but we're guessing 1960s - corrections gratefully received! . unknown
