‎<strong>This pamphlet defends the Lutheran church council of The Hague against complaints made by the emeritus minister Mauritius Maassen who had appealed to outside congregations in Haarlem Leiden and Amsterdam. It argues that the council acted lawfully and that Maassen’s accusations were unjust and disruptive to church order.</strong>Paper binding folio size. 58 pag. Pambo die hij beschuldigde van piemeltisme seksuele losbandigheid obsessie met lichamelijk genot lustzucht of wellustige levensstijl. Ook had hij problemen met de regelingen rond zijn emeritaat. Dit pamflet behoort tot een interne kerkenstrijd binnen de Evangelisch-Lutherse Gemeente van Den Haag in de jaren 1730. De emeritus-predikant Mauritius Maassen had klachten grieven ingediend tegen het kerkenbestuur kerkenraad en had daarbij steun gezocht buiten Den Haag — namelijk bij de Lutherse kerkenraden in Haarlem Leiden en Amsterdam. unknown‎

In her IWW bibliography Dione Miles lists the 1923 first edition of this title which is fifty-pages long but there is no reference or entry for this significantly expanded 1925 second edition see Miles 4312. <br /> <br /> Divided into eight chapters this pamphlet thoroughly explores "how mechanization creates unemployment" and features fourteen illustrations and cartoons by Art Young Maurice Becker and several other uncredited artists.<br /> <br /> The front cover illustration "Modern Machinery Unemployment Dump" is by Art Young. Maurice Becker's "Education—Organization—Emancipation" is printed on page 9. Other notable illustrations are titled or captioned as follows: "The Sewing Machine Was Invented to Save Poor Seamstresses From Overwork.
