"Croquis de mon tableau Pifferaro acquis par le roi des Belges."Léon Herbo, né à Templeuve le 8 octobre 1850 et mort à Ixelles le 19 juin 1907, est un peintre belge. Portraitiste de renom, sa réputation fut telle que souvent l'on s'adressait à lui pour des portraits après décès. Herbo sest beaucoup intéressé au thème dOthello ou le Maure de Venise figurant Othello et Desdémone à plusieurs reprises. Herbo est d'ailleurs l'auteur d'un beau portrait, probablement post-mortem, du célèbre acteur afro-américain abolitionniste Ira Aldridge figuré en amateur d'art et vendu chez Christie's à New-York en 2021 pour le prix record de 137.500 dollars. Herbo s'était fait notamment une spécialité des portraits jubiliaires de corporations : officiers, magistrats, comédiens, professeurs, etc., groupés à l'occasion d'un anniversaire. - 1 poème ms. signé [?] daté 1883. - 1 partition ms. de Mazurka signée du compositeur Adolphe Wouters (1849-1924), datée 1884. Adolphe-François Wouters (né à Bruxelles le 28 mai 1849 et décédé à Ixelles le 16 avril 1924) est un compositeur belge. Ses compositions couvrent à peu près tous les genres. La musique d'église y tient une place importante, comme la célèbre Messe de Sainte-Cécile ou le Te Deum pour chur et grand orchestre exécuté le 21 juillet 1880 dans la cathédrale Saint-Michel pour le 50e anniversaire de l'Indépendance de la Belgique. - 1 dessin à l'encre signé de Louis Titz (1859-1932), daté 1883. Louis Benoît Joseph Titz, né à Bruges le 24 juin 1859 et mort à Etterbeek le 8 octobre 1932, est un artiste-peintre, dessinateur, aquarelliste, graveur et lithographe belge. - 1 poème ms. signé de Paul Berlier daté 1883. - 1 dessin à la gouache signé Adrienne. - 1 dessin au crayon et à l'encre signé "Th. Hannon" [Théodore Hannon?] daté 1884. - 1 dessin à l'encre signé P. de Coster et daté [18]84. - 1 dessin signé [?] aux sanguines. - 1 dessin au crayon signé A. Michaux. Projet de médaille. Très sûrement Alphonse Michaux (1860-1928) médailleur et sculpteur belge, qui travailla au service de la Monnaie royale de Belgique. Remarquable artiste aussi bien que technicien, il conçoit en 1901 la nouvelle série de petites monnaies complémentaires, les 5, 10 et 25 centimes de francs belges en cupronickel et trouées en leur centre. Le « type Michaux » sera en circulation jusque dans les années 1930. Durant la Première Guerre mondiale, il est chargé de la gravure des monnaies de zinc frappées pour pallier la pénurie des pièces de 5, 10, 25 et 50 centimes. Il crée de nouveaux types monétaires pour la Perse (1900), la Roumanie (1905, 1906), l'État indépendant du Congo (1906), la Colombie (1907) le Siam (1908), le Grand-Duché de Luxembourg (1908, 1916), le Congo Belge (1909). Outre ses créations destinées au royaume de Belgique, Michaux travailla également en tant que médailleur commémoratif, notamment pour l'Exposition universelle de Liège de 1905 et pour Haïti. - 1 dessin à l'encre signé [?], daté 1896. - 1 aquarelle signée [?] datée 1896 également. Et une photographie de Maurice Frison, né le 8 mars 1863 et mort le 8 octobre 1938, qui était avocat de la cour, socialiste, président du Conseil Général des Hospices et Secours (ancêtre du CPAS), membre du Parti Ouvrier belge, également membre du Grand Orient. Il est fait membre de la légion d'honneur sous Léopold II, il sera également avocat de l'ambassade de France en Belgique. Il fit construire l'Hôtel Frison un bâtiment de style « Art nouveau » conçu par l'architecte Victor Horta au numéro 37 de la rue Lebeau dans le quartier du Sablon, seule maison dans le centre historique, au cur de Bruxelles. C'est en 1894 que Victor Horta dessina cet hôtel de maître pour son ami l'avocat Maurice Frison. La maison est construite sur le site de l'ancien site du Palais de Justice de Bruxelles, détruit au XIXe siècle. C'est la deuxième maison bâtie Art nouveau de Victor Horta à Bruxelles, dont la construction s'acheva en 1895.

Remarquable artiste aussi bien que technicien, il conçoit en 1901 la nouvelle série de petites monnaies complémentaires, les 5, 10 et 25 centimes de francs belges en cupronickel et trouées en leur centre. Le « type Michaux » sera en circulation jusque dans les années 1930. Durant la Première Guerre mondiale, il est chargé de la gravure des monnaies de zinc frappées pour pallier la pénurie des pièces de 5, 10, 25 et 50 centimes. Il crée de nouveaux types monétaires pour la Perse (1900), la Roumanie (1905, 1906), l'État indépendant du Congo (1906), la Colombie (1907) le Siam (1908), le Grand-Duché de Luxembourg (1908, 1916), le Congo Belge (1909). Outre ses créations destinées au royaume de Belgique, Michaux travailla également en tant que médailleur commémoratif, notamment pour l'Exposition universelle de Liège de 1905 et pour Haïti. - 1 dessin à l'encre signé [?], daté 1896. - 1 aquarelle signée [?] datée 1896 également. Et une photographie de Maurice Frison, né le 8 mars 1863 et mort le 8 octobre 1938, qui était avocat de la cour, socialiste, président du Conseil Général des Hospices et Secours (ancêtre du CPAS), membre du Parti Ouvrier belge, également membre du Grand Orient. Il est fait membre de la légion d'honneur sous Léopold II, il sera également avocat de l'ambassade de France en Belgique. Il fit construire l'Hôtel Frison un bâtiment de style « Art nouveau » conçu par l'architecte Victor Horta au numéro 37 de la rue Lebeau dans le quartier du Sablon, seule maison dans le centre historique, au cur de Bruxelles. C'est en 1894 que Victor Horta dessina cet hôtel de maître pour son ami l'avocat Maurice Frison. La maison est construite sur le site de l'ancien site du Palais de Justice de Bruxelles, détruit au XIXe siècle. C'est la deuxième maison bâtie Art nouveau de Victor Horta à Bruxelles, dont la construction s'acheva en 1895.
