Muirhead's Blue Guides are renowned for their immense assembly of factual information and finely detailed maps and plans. First issued in 1922 NE France includes a large section on the War Area, with maps of battle-lines and other such data. From the third impression, issued later in the same year, a particular feature was the inclusion of all general maps as an atlas at the end, but enemy action prevented this from the second edition onwards.‎
