The sepia-toned high-gloss albumen paper photograph image size 153 � 196 mm is in excellent condition; the original card mount 253 � 303 mm is stained in one margin with minor loss to one corner and another margin. The photographer is not credited but someone at a later date has helpfully written the location on the verso with the additional information that 'Roy's Dad Alfred Paul Schulz Born June 1872' is seated in the front right. This would suggest the image dates from the mid to late 1890s. unknown
