She is appreciated for her novel A Man Named Luke 1932 a biographical novel about French actress Rachel and her charming fairy tales.<br/> <br/> Prolific Scottish illustrator Anne Anderson 1874 - 1952 who painted and etched had a delicate Art Nouveau style approaching some of Arthur Rackham's best work.<br/> <br/> Solid copy with bright clean cloth but it seems that the hinges--which don't seem at all loose--may have been reinforced with white binder's tape. The scarce and unclipped dust jacket is quite complete but has medium wear and areas of whitening. No previous ownership marks. Chilton Book Company hardcover
