An einen namentlich nicht genannten Adressaten: "Ich bin vollkommen einverstanden, wenn sie die Güte haben wollen in Ihrem Blatte eine kurze Anzeige der neuen Aufname in unsere Instrumental- und Gesang-Schule zu machen. Dies wird vollkommen genügen, indem ohnedies nur wenige Ausländer in unser Institut treten (In dieser Classe war bloß ein Holsteiner Herner Violinspieler und ein Dresdner Kitzler Violoncellist; der letztere kam aus dem Brüssler Conservatorium). Was die beabsichtigte neue Auflage Ihrer 'Grundzüge' betrifft so theile ich Ihnen mit, dass ich 60 Exemplare brauche. Ich bitte entweder um einen ermäßigten Preis pro Exemplar oder um ein Gratisexemplar bei 10 Exemplaren […]". - Der Schüler Tomascheks wurde nach Beendigung seines Jura-Studiums bei der Kgl. böhmischen Kammerprokuratur angestellt. 1840 schied er aus dem Staatsdienst aus, widmete sich ganz seinen musikalischen Interessen und wurde 1843 Direktor des Prager Konservatoriums.
