Kimya-i sinai-i uzvî dersleri. Cevad Mazhar was born in 1870. He was a military veterinarian after his graduates Kocamustafa Askeri Rüsdiyesi, Kuleli Mekteb-i Tibbiye Idadisi (in 1884). After that he studied in Wien for dermatology, he returned to be a professor in Darülfünûn (University of Istanbul). After about 15 years in the professorship of the University until the University Reform in 1933, he was excluded by the majority by the national minister of education, Resit Galip and unfortunately he committed suicide on 11 March 1934.
