Due opere in un volume in 8°; pagg. (8), 690, (8); (6), 105, 1 c.b. Capolettera e fregi silografici. Piena pergamena rigida coeva con titolo manoscritto al dorso a inchiostro bruno, tagli blu. Bella edizione, e non comune, di questo famoso repertorio medico farmaceutico a opera del medico e fisico di corte scozzese Thomas Burnet (1638-1704) e destinato ai colleghi e ai professionisti del settore. Pubblicato originariamente nel 1672, fu immediatamente ben accolto e con successo più volte ristampato. Seguendo un ordinamento alfabetico, il trattato esamina le varie malattie del corpo con relativa la cura del rimedio farmaceutico più efficace. Nella seconda opera con proprio frontespizio, vi sono oltre al celebre giuramento Hippocratico, tutti i precetti dell'arte medica, in testo latino e con i titoli riportati in testo greco. Omessa la numerazione delle pagine 213-214. Bell' esemplare fascinoso che presenta lievi fioriture marginali, alcune pagine arrossate.<BR><BR>
