Pona, Francesco (Verona 1595-1655)
DELL’ANELLO FISICO OVERO Del Ristretto dell’Arte Medica DI FRANCESCO PONA CAV.
(Piantanida 2004). Raro.

Nihell, James (Limerick 1705-1759)
NOVÆ RARÆQUE OBSERVATIONES Circa variarium Crisium prædictionem EX PULSU Nullo habito respecto ad signa critica antiquorum: Primum a FRANCISCO SOLANO de LUQUE, Antequeræ in Hispania novissime Practico, & a varios deinde alias Medicis, factæ. Multis novis Casibus & Animadversionibus illustratæ. Addita sunt Monita quædam generalia de Natura Crisium, eaurmque apud Antiquos Consideratione, & apud Modernos Neglectu. AUCTORE JACOBO NIHELL, Med. Doct. Ex Anglico Latine redditi WILHELMUS NOORTWYK, M. D. VENETIIS, MDCCXLVIII. Apud Thomas Bettinelli. [1748]
Legatura coeva in piena pelle punteggiata all’acido, dorso a cinque nervi con impressioni e titoli dorati, 8vo cm11x17.5, pp (48) 127 (1). Segnatura: a-c8 A-H8. Genuino e ben conservato. [vedi anche Bedford, The Ancient Art of Feeling the Pulse, in Br. Heart Journal 13, 1951] Contemporary mottled calf, octavo. The third latin edition of Nihell’s treatise on the pulse as a way of predicting bodily crises, based on the work of Spanish doctor Francisco Solano de Luque.
