31,7x23,1 cm; 17, (1) pp. e 6 c. di tav. fuori testo. Monografia dedicata all'esemplare di Rhamphorhynchus Gemmingi conservato presso il Museo dell'Istituto di Geologia e Paleontologia diell'Università degli Studi di Padova, proveniente probabilmente dagli scavi della ditta Krantz, nel giacimento fossilifero di Eickstatt del Giurese di Bavaria. Prima edizione illustrata da bellissime tavole fotografice a piena pagina e da tavole esplicative dettagliate a stampa. A parte una leggerrissima brunitura al centro dell'opera, non fastidioas od intensa, l'opera si presenta in buone-ottime condizioni di conservazione. Non comune.
