The history measures 9.25 x 6.5 inches in stiff black pebbled card covers with steel spiral binding good with neat cloth reinforcement of spine. The yearbooks for 1928 and 1929 are bound in stiff card covers very good light wear the 1930 in red rexine cloth made to look like leather also very good all with light soil and wear bit musty. Circa 1935 advertising books for The McDowell School of Costume Design with color fashion plates and black-and-white photographs throughout. Established in 1876 The McDowell School operated for at least a century we found record of a banquet they held in 1987 teaching various courses necessary to the understanding of professional costume design.
