A wonderful signed presentation copy of this enlightening account of printing and publishing with an endearing letter from the author. The author's presentation copy of this book. Easy. No problems".First edition. With the publisher's unclipped dust wrapper. A delightful account of 65 years in printing and publishing as told by master printer and "journeyman" Walter Partridge. The memoirs include fascinating portraits of his equally artistic friends and a vivid sketch of his craft beginning with boyhood as a printer's devil in Yorkshire. The final publication of the author's private press Perdix Press. Also loosely inserted is a review on the book published in Printing World December 1991. In the original cloth binding. With the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally fine. Dust wrapper is lovely with only a hint of bumping to the head of the spine. Internally firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
