A souvenir pennant supporting Muhammad Ali in his heavyweight championship fight against George Foreman-known as the "Rumble in the Jungle"-in Kinshasa Zaire. The printed date of October 29 reflects the American viewing date. The fight began at approximately four in the morning on October 30 in Kinshasa timed to reach evening audiences in the United States. Ali entered the bout seeking to regain the heavyweight title he had lost in 1967 after refusing induction into the U.S. armed forces.
