1931ref. 29122HBDJ 1931. Stated First Modern Library Edition COPYRIGHT PG BK VG- / GOOD- DJ 1ST in the first issue 200-title dust jacket. here is some minor staining. The DJ which is good only has about one inch of chipping on the top and bottom of the spine a small stain the front panel and a vertical chip on the spine. There a few tears elsewhere on the front and back panels. Obviously this is not that good a DJ but it is still very rare for a first of this issueand a celebration of the Russian spirit. Tolstoy's genius is seen clearly in the multitude of characters in this massive chronicle - all of them fully realized and equally memorable. Out of this complex narrative emerges a profound examination of the individual's place in the historical process NY MODERN LIBRARY G1 BASE DJ SPINE hardcover
