1926Due tomi in un volume in 8° legato in mezza pelle con grandi unghie, titolo al dorso a quattro nervi, sguardie marezzate, brossure editoriali conservate, sguardie, occhielli, frontespizi, VIII, 233, 229 pp., carte d'indici. La disanima storica e filologica del "pastiche", qualcosa di simile alla parodia ma più profondo, più aggressivo. Importante la bibliografia e davvero sorprendente per ampiezza ed accuratezza gli stralci esemplificativi. Alcuni spunti invero eclatanti. In perfetto stato, notevole e poco comune.

Renan, texte de Barrès qui avait été publié en 1888. L'auteur en est Henri Beauclair, célèbre coauteur des Déliquescences d'Adoré Floupette (avec Gabriel Vicaire), satire parodique des poètes décadents, parue initialement en 1885. Tout petit manque en haut du dos sinon très bon exemplaire, non coupé. Peu courant.

The story features Steve and Delta checking into a sleazy motel. Great art style that tries hard to mimic Caniff. A couple of neat 4th wall breaking touches including one panel labeled "The Close-Up" and the final page featuring the couple looking towards the reader and saying "Well what the are you looking at" Tan cover stock. Interior pages printed single-sided. Interior printing mostly sharp but shows some drop-out in the heavy black areas. Cover two-piece. Some corrosion to staple. Very difficult to find originals of these. Size: 16mo very small. Text unmarked. Binding is tight covers and spine fully intact. Slight shelf-wear and bumping to corners. Illustrator: unknown.
