rif. 284Paris, Editions Jules Tallandier, s.d. [DL 1945], 1 br.

1928rif. 000795Paris: Librairie Garnier Freres 1928. Hardcover. Very Good. Rabier Benjamin. Folio. Unpaginated. Tale of goose Gedeon and adventures in Africa. Rabier's color illustrations would seem to prefigure the anthropomorphic charm and acuity of Warner Brothers' Loony Toons. Text is minimal and not critical to enjoyment of the cartoon-like format with some frames half and even full page which measures 12.5 by 9.5 inches. Some shelfwear to boards with moderate soilage and some minor losses to paper on board along edges. Heavy stock paper with toning but clean otherwise. Tight binding. A very good copy overall. 1932rif. 001957Paris: Librairie Garnier Frerers 1932 1932. Illustrated boards with red cloth spine corner wear book plate removed from FFEP. Gedeon the duck arrives on a small island far from home only to discover that he is somehow well-known and revered. Rabier's animals are always a delight and seem to be having so much fun. Any day spent in the world he created would be a good one. Very Good. Folio. Librairie Garnier Frerers hardcover books
