Nel capitolo II ho illustrato il linguaggio Pascal, da me insegnato (secondo la versione Tubo-Pascal 3) per molti anni nel corso sperimentale del liceo scientifico, con diverse applicazioni alla matematica e, talvolta, anche alla fisica. Nel capitolo III ho presentato lo studio sul compilatore Dev-Pascal. Nel capitolo IV, dedicato alle letture, ho inserito la grafica del Turbo Pascal 3; un cenno appena sul più moderno IDE Lazarus; alcuni richiami di logica classica; e una sintesi sul sistema di numerazione binaria. Nei capitoli V e VI, infine, ho voluto aggiungere gli elementi, da me già pubblicati, di calcolo combinatorio e calcolo delle probabilità, sempre presenti nei programmi in Pascal." (L'autore)
