Dr. Petraitis has now produced a second edition of the work using not only the Istanbul manuscript employed by Professor Badawi but a Vatican manuscript written in Hebrew characters and an Oxford manuscript of Ibn Rushd's medium commentary also written in Hebrew characters. In his introduction he deals with the history of Arabic Aristotelian editions with the translator of his text Yabya in al-Bitriq and with the translations attributed to Yahy and to his father.
