This is a most useful reprint in 2 volumes of 33 bookseller's catalogues issued by Ernst Weil together describing over 8500 works including many rarities in the fields of science and medicine. The inclusion of a new comprehensive author-title index which runs to some 287 pages makes this reprint more useful than a set of the original catalogues which would in any case be extremely difficult to put together. Weil was respected as one of the most scholarly of post-war booksellers - his bibliography of Albert Einstein remains sought-after - and the catalogues are valuable reference tools for anyone collecting or dealing in his fields.
