No date c. 1914 7 full-page lithographs by Robida each with tissue guard and 2 leaves 4 pages of text and each housed in a coloured printed card folder. All housed within a portfolio with cloth spine and corners and front board printed in black original ties present. A little general wear and rubbing to the portfolio which is slightly marked otherwise contents and plates in excellent clean condition. The complete series is of 8 lithographs but this portfolio only includes 7 which are Reims Louvain Senlis Malines Arras Termonde and Ypres all cities in France and Belgium destroyed by the Germans in World War I. Each of the fascicles was originally sold separately but it seems that they were also sold later together as a set in this portfolio. A very good colllection. E. Baudelot Hardcover

The original lithographs depict the cities of France and Belgium destroyed by the Germans in World War I. Included are Reims Louvain Senlis Malines Arras Termonde Soissons and Ypres. Each of the fascicules was originally sold separately. At some point sets of the 8 prints were gathered together and issued with the portfolio.
