1915ref. FB3015 /2BCream cloth binding with navy title and decoration on the front board and spine. British colonial propaganda. The illustrations by W. Heath Robinson are marvellous. But the poems are justifying genocide with religious slavery and colonisations with racial and justifying racism with lingual superiority. Rudyard is a white man's poet indeed. This book is like a nazi propaganda but for English people. I cringed so hard reading the poems. I wouldn't have completed reading if not for the gorgeous illustrations. This almost gave me Kipling depression Hodder & Stoughton. hardcover
