1937réf. 037862Mount Vernon: Peter Pauper Press 1937 This is a paperback of a book that was issued only casebound and slipcased in 1937. It has no publication information other than stating Peter Pauper Press Mount Vernon New York on the title page - no date and no statement of edition or printing. The decorative wraps are improperly sized for the book with the front edge design truncated. This book has 52 pages and all references to the hardback version have 58 or 59 pages. This leads me to believe that this is a proof and not the book as it was intended to be sold. For collectors of the Peter Pauper Press or for collectors of oddities/rarities. The book is in about Fine - condition with a bit of sunning to the spine and a faint stain and mild sunning to the top edge. Peter Pauper Press paperback
