Spines a bit darkened extremities rubbed some scuffing to spines volume labels chipped one nearly gone one title label heavily chipped bindings tight leaves crisp and clean overall still a very good set but for the chipped labels. Illus. with engraved 12 frontispieces and 12 extra title page vignettes drawn by C. Stanfield and engraved by E. Finden. 12mo. Originally to be 8 volumes changed to 10 with addition of new material and thus new title pages were issued. John Murray hardcover
