Boners is a collection of unintentionally comic answers and mistakes gathered from schoolroom examination papers by the compiler Alexander Abingdon. The book is chiefly prized today for its illustrations by Dr. Seuss Theodor Seuss Geisel for whom it was among the very first books he illustrated six years before his own first children’s book And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street 1937. A great popular success Boners spawned several sequels among them More Boners also illustrated by Seuss.
