Qualche fioritura e foxing al piatto anteriore e alla prima carta, due strappetti senza perdita di carta al margine superiore di due carte e per il resto, in buone condizioni di conservazione. Prima edizione rarissima di questa raccolta di prose delle nota scrittrice e poetessa originaria di Treviso, Wanda Casellato (Treviso, 1914 – Treviso, 2005). Scrive Maria Ester Nichele su ABCVeneto in un articolo a lei dedicato per ricordarene l'opera: "La sua prosa - più che sulla costruzione di vicende e personaggi come si addice a un romanzo - fu incentrata sulla descrizione di paesaggi, colori, sentimenti. Lavorò come assistente sociale e collaborò a vari giornali. Frequentava simposi e convegni poetici. Semplice, umile e modesta, era amante degli animali, che spesso adottava e proteggeva. Trascorse parte della sua vita in una casa sul Montello, fra piante, fiori e animaletti d'ogni genere. Fra i giornali e le riviste in cui pubblicava i suoi scritti ci sono: "Il gazzettino"; "Il gazzettino-sera"; "Il gazzettino illustrato" (tutti e tre di Venezia); "La Prealpina" di Varese; "La vita del popolo" di Treviso; "Le Venezie e l'Italia"; "Italia turistica" di Padova e per concludere "El Sil" di Treviso". Opera molto rara.

The text is preceded by the notice of the publisher and news about the life of Vincent of Filicaia, said Oebalo Emonio, written by Thomas Boneventuri. Vincenzo da Filicaja (1642-1707) was an Italian poet, born in Florence from an ancient and noble family. After living in Rome as an educator of the children of Cristina of Sweden, he was appointed senator by Cosimo III of Tuscany and had the government of Volterra and then Pisa. He was part of the Roman literary circle that formed the first nucleus of the Arcadia and brought in the poetry of late seventeenth century a strong need for clarity and rationality opposed to formal eccentricities of Marinists.
