1952rif. 22364London: Heinemann 1952. A first edition first printing of 'East of Eden' published Heinemann in 1952. A fine book without inscriptions - a superb example. In a near fine unclipped wrapper with some gentle rubbing to the spine tips and corners. Minute chip to the base of the spine. Complete with the scarce wrap-around band stating 'Steinbeck's Classic Story - Read a Great Book - See a Great Film'. A very attractive example indeed and the basis for the James Dean movie.
