A very scarce eighteenth century pamphlet defending the healing properties of the water in Bath to one Dr Radcliffe of Tunbridge Wells. This rumour has become a part of the legend of Beau Nash of Bath who was said to have calmed people's fears claiming he could neutralise the toad's poison with music which resulted in him raising money for an orchestra to play at the baths.
