Sully 1560-1641 was a Huguenot soldier financier and statesman who became Henry IV's chief minister and under his often autocratic guidance restored stability and solvency to France's affairs. He left a collections of memoirs written in the second person first published in 1634 which are valuable as a history of the times. Our offering is the second volume of these memoirs commencing with chapter 71 and concluding with a comprehensive Table of Contents. Colophon states that this edition was printed at Rouen France on September 28 1663 to be sold in Paris by Thomas Jolly. Thomas Jolly unknown
