1931rif. 287395Bakersfield: Chamber of Commerce 1931. Pamphlet. Two folded brochures on the same subject much the same texts differing design and visuals: First item is a single leaf of coated alkaline stock measuring 18x12 inches folded three times to make an upright 9x4 inch flyer presswork in yellow green & black a very good clean copy that hails in a vignette a little-known exposition occurring in San Francisco Nov 1927 the "Pacific Foreign Trade & Travel Expo". Second item derives from the first four years later with a scaled-back design and shorter text; this is a single leaf measuring 16x9 folded twice to make another upright 9x4 flyer. This second flyer has an inch-by-half-inch chip to upper margin destroying the word 'Acre' of verso text otherwise an okay copy with same boosterism but different stats. The two together as a sort of pair. Chamber of Commerce unknown books
