Hardcover rebound with original illustrated cloth cover. Cover and spine rubbed, yellowing and stained. Cover corners and bottom edge peeling. Cover corners and spine edges bumped. Inner cover taped. Front whitepage stained. Previous owner's name and address written on front whitepage upper corner. Previous owner's stamp on title-page upper corner. Pre-title page (color illustrations) wrinkled and tattered. Binding slightly visible between contents page and page 1. One illustration ('Die Birkenhütte') detached, wrinkled and tattered.
