2013In occasione del cinquecentenario della nascita di Leonardo da Vinci si registrò una larga mobilitazione della cultura internazionale, in particolare, ma non solo, europea. Intorno al nodo 'Leonardo' e al suo rapporto con il concetto di Rinascimento si misurarono differenti prospettive storiografiche e sensibilità nuove sullo sfondo di un clima culturale più arioso. Il volume ricostruisce questa stagione di intenso confronto e ne esamina l'apporto alla storiografia leonardiana e rinascimentale. The five hundredth anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's birth assisted, especially in Europe, to a wide participation of the international culture. Different historical perspectives and new intelligences confronted themselves on the figure of Leonardo and his relationship with the Renaissance, in the context of a freer cultural setting. The book reconstructs this season of intense discussion, and examines its contribution to the history of the Renaissance and of Leonardo's achievements.
