ref. CJSBLZ13This book details the largest battle in Europe before World War I - The Battle of Leipzig also known as the Battle of Nations in 1813 during the Napoleonic war. It's aftermath led to the dissolution of the early German Confederation of the Rhine which was assembled by Napoleon as a French client state and the eventual retreat on all fronts of the French Empire during the Sixth Coalition War.It is a series of excerpts from notes and diaries from the files of the War Archives of the Great General Staff and the Secret State Archives in Berlin the State Archives in Breslau and from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in London.Ex private military library stock so in better condition than most library books. Expect to see sparse library marks and annotations in the text. Cover and binder in good condition with few markings for its considerable age as is the spine. No dust jacket. There is heavier wear on the spine header. Quick flickthrough of book shows a few signs of annotations other than some typical library stamps on the inner initial pages. Robust copy. Hardcover. Good condition. 1913 edition. In German. Quick dispatch. Many thanks for supporting independents. hardcover
