Warmholtz 3048 anger felaktigt första upplagans tryckår till 1696. Den ovanliga första upplagan av Vertots klassiska och mycket inflytelserika svenska historia som framföra allt behandlar Gustav Vasas makttillträde och reformationen med ett sammandrag av Sveriges äldre historia. Den utkom i en mängd nya upplagor utkom ända in på 1800-talet. Roliga marginalanteckningar om Thor och Fornioter. unknown

Två volymer. Warmholtz 3048. Réne-Auber de Vertot 1655-1735 var fransk historiker. Första upplagan av detta i utlandet mycket inflytelserika arbete om samhällsomvandlingar i Sveriges historia utkom redan 1695 och trycktes sedan i en mängd upplagor ännu så sent som 1850 utkom nya. Den behandlar nästan uteslutande Gustav Vasas maktövertagande och reformationen och sträcker sig fram till Gustav Vasas död. En fortsättning på franska skrevs av Olof Celsius Setterwall 1176. unknown
