Elrod. In very good condition. A very nice example. Frances Trego Montgomery 1858–1925 was an American children's author best known for her works that combined adventure and fantasy with educational themes. On a Lark to the Planets 1910 is a lesser-known but imaginative work in which Montgomery explores early science fiction themes depicting a fantastical journey through space. The novel follows young protagonists as they travel to different planets encountering diverse civilizations and engaging with speculative ideas about astronomy and planetary life. Blending scientific curiosity with whimsical storytelling Montgomery’s work reflects the early 20th-century fascination with space exploration and the possibilities of extraterrestrial existence.
