The unnumbered pages include title pages and contents lists for the various "treatises" into which the book is divided. The final unnumbered pages are sets of trigonometric and logarithmic tables. Many many plates in addition to the text pages yet to be counted. Two small areas of worm channels to free endpaper and first nine leaves pin-hole-like to next two leaves of the first volume. The top edges of the spines are somewhat finger-worn and two are beginning to split down to the top raised bandspine leather showing vertical creasing/hairline surface cracking but essentially this is a very good set; it is a relief and an indication of the general condition that the labels are all present.
