1927réf. 1029B43New York: G. Howard Watt 1927 . First edition. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. 7.5" by 5.5". None. The very scarce first U.S. edition of this thrilling Western from Charles Wesley Sanders smartly presented in the exceedingly scarce dust wrapper. The very scarce first U.S. edition. In the publisher's original cloth binding encased in the especially scarce and unclipped dust wrapper. An exciting adventure and mystery novel set against the backdrop of the Camas trail. Written by Charles Wesley Sanders author of a number of similar Westerns such as Trouble Range and The Avenger. In the publisher's original cloth binding encased in the especially scarce and unclipped dust wrapper. Signature of a former owner to the front paste down. Externally smart with slight bumping and rubbing resulting in minor loss of cloth to the extremities and two further chips towards the bottom of the front joint. Cloth is also subtly aged with the occasional mark. Dust wrapper presents expected edge wear leading to light loss at the spine head and tail. More faded along the spine with light scattered marking to front and rear. A particularly pleasing example considering the age of the wrap. Front hinge is a little delicate but remains reasonably firm. Internally generally firmly bound with only minimal binding strain between the second page and half title. Slightly age toned with stronger discolouration to the endpapers from contact with the dust wrapper. Generally bright and clean. Very Good G. Howard Watt hardcover
